BRINGING ART HAUS INTO THE COMMUNITY
Art Haus partners with schools, preschools, community organizations, and youth programs to bring inclusive, sensory-rich creative experiences directly to the children they serve.
-
We believe creative experiences should be accessible to children of all ages and abilities, in the spaces where they already learn, play, and belong.
Art Haus partnerships bring sensory-rich, process-based art directly into your community, with programming that can be adapted for artists from around 6 months old through the elementary years and beyond. We make room for different developmental stages, sensory needs, communication styles, and ways of participating.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all Art Haus partner. We work with organizations and programs that serve children and families, including preschools and early learning centers, elementary schools, homeschool communities, specialized schools and programs, after-school programs, camps, and community organizations.
Whether your artists are babies just beginning to explore or older children ready for more complex creative experiences, we build programming with your specific community in mind.
-
As flexible as the communities we serve! Partnerships can include one-time experiences, recurring art and sensory series, enrichment classes, camps, collaborative projects, special events, family programming, and more.
We work with you to consider your artists’ ages and abilities, group size, environment, goals, and schedule, then create an experience that fits. You know your community. We know how to get them creating.
-
Art Haus has brought creative programming into early childhood programs, community organizations, schools, camps, and other spaces throughout Knoxville.
From recurring classes for some of our youngest artists to summer camp programming and experiences designed for children with a wide range of learning and support needs, each partnership looks a little different. That’s exactly the point. We want Art Haus to work for the community in front of us.
-
Art Haus is built around the belief that there is no one right way to create, learn, or participate. Our OT-informed, sensory-rich approach considers the whole child, with room for movement, exploration, different communication styles, sensory preferences, and varying levels of support.
Our experiences are process-based, adaptable, and intentionally designed so children across ages and abilities can create alongside one another while being supported at their own developmental level.
Every body. Every brain. Every artist belongs.
