Winter Break Kickoff Party

The Art Haus and We Rock the Spectrum Knoxville are teaming up for a special Winter Break Kickoff Event. Join us Friday, Dec 19 after Knox County Schools half day for a fun and meaningful afternoon of sensory play and process based art.

We will offer two classes, and every registration includes one full hour of play in the sensory gym. The classes run on an offset schedule so siblings of different ages can participate.

Ages 5 to 12
Art Haus from 12:30 to 1:20
Gym play from 1:30 to 2:30

Ages 4 and under
Gym play from 12:30 to 1:20
Art Haus from 1:30 to 2:20

Our classes are rooted in occupational therapy principles. We encourage movement, exploration, and developmentally supportive skill work. Your artist will move through a class that includes themed sensory exploration bins designed to support tactile confidence, fine motor development, and imaginative play.

We will also create a themed take home process based art activity that supports spatial awareness, fine motor skills, communication, social skills, and open ended creativity.
